On the site of a late Edo period military battery, this waterfront park introduces a recreational beach into the intensive urban development of Odaiba area of Tokyo Bay. As a buffer from the surrounding commercial and recreational facilities and as a site for natural regeneration, the park is heavily planted with seaside vegetation and forest.
